Backpackers at Lorne YHA Backpackers Hostel can enjoy rainforest walks through Angahook / Lorne State Park including Teddy's Lookout and Erskine Falls, hand feed the native birds and possums, go horseriding on the beach, fishing or to many of the pubs, restaurants and galleries, listen to live music, check out a movie or try your luck at surfing and mini golf. All activities are located close to the hostel's door step. Enjoy bird watching, bushwalking, fishing, golfing, horseriding, shopping, surfing and swimming. Live music at Kostas on Sunday and Monday nights. DJ/Live music at Reifs on Wednesday night. DJ/Live music at the Lorne Hotel on Friday and Saturday nights plus live music at the Courtyard on Saturday nights. All located close to the hostel. Make sure you book in for long enough to enjoy all the attractions of Lorne and surrounds.

Getting Here:
Bus: The hostel is located 100 metres to bus stop. Coach tour companies Oz Experience, Wild-Life Tours and Wayward bus service the YHA backpackers hostel.
Train: Melbourne to Geelong then V/Line bus to Lorne. Ask for stop nearest Erskine River, walk up Erskine Avenue to the YHA backpackers hostel.
Plane: The hostel is located 130 km to Melbourne Airport
